Click to see the back. :::: Click to see the front. The fun part of this design project was in making the most of the play on words that the title of the conference offered. Just / art as in "Art for art's sake?" or just / art as in art for social justice or a third possible meaning, just / art as in "just start social change." I attempted to imply all of these meanings. The mural artwork on the front is "Reflection Eternal" by the East Palo Alto Mural Arts Project. On the back is part of a print by Enrique Chagoya titled, "utopiancannibal.com" as well as several student installation pieces presented at the IDA "Cartographies of Race" art exhibit in the Stanford Gallery in 2002.
